About this scholarship
Oregon high school senior student-athletes with at least a 3.3 GPA who will attend an Oregon college or university may apply for Oregon Sports Hall of Fame scholarships through the Joy of Sport program.
About six awards of $3,000 are available. Selection weighs financial need, athletic accomplishment, academic achievement, and community involvement.
In addition to the application, submit an SAR report, official transcripts, SAT/ACT forms, lists of athletic and academic achievements, community service and work experience, at least one recommendation letter, a one-page personal letter on why you should win, and a recent photo and one-page biography.
The Hall launched the Joy of Sport Program in the 1999-2000 school year to support outstanding Oregon student-athletes.
