About this scholarship

Oregon residents studying for a teaching degree at an Oregon public college or university may apply for a one-time Teacher Education Scholarship.

The award is $1,000. Recipients may re-apply in later years. The number of awards varies.

Download the application from oregonpta.org. The window opens February 1 and closes May 1. Winners are selected in June and notified by phone, email, or mail. Checks are mailed to the college before classes start in September.
