About this scholarship

Current and former Orange County, CA, foster youth ages 18 to 30 enrolled at an accredited college, community college, or trade school may apply. Applicants must have been a dependent youth in Orange County after their 13th birthday and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA with grades of C or better.

Awards are up to $3,300 per year for community college, up to $3,300 total for trade school, or up to $5,900 per year for a bachelor's degree, until reaching a $25,000 lifetime cap.

Apply once per academic year with a foster verification letter, financial aid documentation, and term schedule. Fall applications typically open in August. Approved students complete midyear and end-of-year updates.
