About this scholarship
Former Orange County, CA, foster youth with an Orangewood Foundation connection who have completed a bachelor's degree and are enrolled in an accredited graduate program or specialized training may apply. Applicants may be considered up to age 35.
Awards are up to $10,000 for tuition, books, supplies, or living expenses. The number of recipients varies by cycle. Funding is supplemental and does not guarantee full cost coverage.
Submit an application and complete a panelist interview. Decisions depend on available funding for the fiscal year.

- Single combined essay addressing all five questions in essay format; required format: double spaced, 12pt black font, 1-2 pages in length (no per-prompt word/character limit stated)
- Completed online Advanced Studies application
