About this scholarship
Persons affected by a bleeding disorder (diagnosed individual, caregiver, or household family member) pursuing education at an accredited U.S. college, university, or certified training program may apply. North Carolina residency is not required. At least one award is reserved for a student in a health-related field.
Scholarships range from $500 to $3,000 based on merit and financial need. The number of awards varies.
Complete the FAFSA and apply through the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina by May 15. Applicants diagnosed with hemophilia A are automatically considered for the George D. McCoy scholarship without a separate application.
