Operation Round Up Scholarship - Academic Excellence

Graduating high school seniors who are children, grandchildren, or legal wards of South Central Power members (residing in the member's home within the cooperative service territory) may apply for the Academic Excellence Scholarship. Applicants need at least a 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale, involvement in school activities, and plans to pursue a four-year degree at an accredited college, university, or post-secondary institution. Immediate family of Foundation board members are ineligible.

Several $1,000 scholarships are awarded. From that group, the board may select a student for Ohio's Electric Cooperatives statewide competition.
