Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)

Merit-based provincial scholarship for full-time master's or doctoral students at participating Ontario universities, including Ontario Tech (University of Ontario Institute of Technology). Applicants must be enrolled full-time for two or more terms in the academic year of the award. Schools set their own ranking criteria.

Awards are valued at $10,000 for two consecutive study terms or $15,000 for three consecutive study terms (structured amount: up to $15,000). Each award covers at least one academic year and at most two years, subject to lifetime maximums.

Apply through your school's OGS application, normally available in October. Deadlines and review details vary by institution. Applications typically require academic referees and transcripts.
