About this scholarship

Student filmmakers from grade 3 through age 25 may submit an original environmental film with a solution-focused theme. International entrants are eligible. No submission fee is required.

Up to seven grade-level categories each award a cash prize or scholarship plus a matching grant to a nonprofit the winner selects. Top scholarship tiers are up to $1,000.

Submit via Film Freeway before the June 25 deadline. Films should be 3 to 8 minutes (45 seconds minimum for animation). Winning entries are screened at the One Earth Film Festival.
