About this scholarship
Ohio students who spent at least one day in the custody of a public children services agency after age 13 (including via reunification, adoption, kinship care, or emancipation) and are enrolled part- or full-time in a certificate, associate, bachelor's, or master's program at an accredited Ohio college may apply.
The award is $1,000 per semester, renewable for up to two semesters per year for up to four years. Funds may cover tuition, fees, room and board, books, or other school costs.
Submit the application with a transcript, one letter of reference from an adult (not a peer), and a one- to two-page student statement on your educational story, career goals, financial need, and other resources.
