About this scholarship

Legal U.S. residents age 18 or older who are enrolled as undergraduates at an accredited college or university may apply for the Office Chairs Unlimited Scholarship.

One $2,000 non-renewable award is paid directly to the winner's institution each year. The winner is notified by August 1.

Submit a 1,000 to 1,500 word essay or a 1 to 2 minute video on how your education will help you achieve your goals, plus proof of enrollment such as a transcript, tuition receipt, or acceptance letter. AI-generated essays are not reviewed.

  • Either a 1,000–1,500 word essay or a 1–2 minute video submitted through YouTube or Vimeo
  • Word count is a range of 1,000 to 1,500 words (wordLimit set to the 1,500 upper bound)
  • Video alternative allowed in place of the essay: a 1-2 minute video uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo (quality not a ranking factor, only content)
  • Submission must be wholly original with the applicant and free of copyrighted/trademarked content
  • AI-generated essays will not be reviewed
  • Proof of enrollment required: a transcript, tuition receipt, or acceptance letter is acceptable
  • Application submitted via a Google Form
  • One application per person
  • Eligibility: undergraduate students at an accredited US college/university, legal US residents (50 states + DC), 18+
  • Deadline: July 15, 2026; winner announced August 1, 2026
