OECTA Award

For York University Faculty of Education teacher candidates graduating from the Pre-Service program who have completed a Catholic religious education course (ED/EDUC 3000 3.0 Teaching Religious Education in the Roman Catholic Separate Schools, or Religious Education: Teaching in Catholic Schools). A second award is available for candidates graduating from the Consecutive program who are recommended by a course director.

One award of $1,000 is available, based on professional and academic excellence.

Complete the application by April 1 and submit it to the Faculty of Education Office of Student Services (osp@edu.yorku.ca).

Established in 1987 by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association (OECTA).
