About this scholarship
First-generation Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander high school seniors enrolling in college with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for the OCA-UPS Gold Mountain Scholarship. DACA and undocumented students with an SSN or ITIN are eligible. The $2,000 non-renewable award is taxable; recipients must submit a W-9 if selected.
Submit a transcript, two 300-word short answers, one 500-word essay, and details on leadership, community service, and work experience. Two non-family references are required.
