About this scholarship
Students graduating with a BSW (Honours) degree from the School of Social Work at King's University College may receive this award from the OASW Western Branch. One award is available; the amount varies.
Applicants submit an outline of their volunteer work, a brief statement describing the social work values that guided their volunteerism, and a reference from the volunteer organization where they served. The three documents go to the Selection Committee in care of the School Council Representative on the OASW Western Branch Board of Directors.
The award recognizes exemplary commitment to social work values in volunteer work completed while pursuing the degree. It is presented at King's University College graduation ceremonies.
