About this scholarship

High school seniors entering environmentally related college programs, college students in such programs, or wastewater operators and trainees in NYSDEC Region 8 may apply for Genesee Valley Chapter NYWEA scholarships. Up to three scholarships may be awarded; award amounts vary.

Separate student and operator application forms are due by 11:59 p.m. on June 30. Student applicants submit two 500 to 600 word essays on career objectives and environmental efforts, two recommendations, a transcript, and enrollment verification.
