NYLA Empire State Academic Scholarship

Full- or part-time students accepted into or enrolled in an ALA-accredited library or information science program in New York State may apply for the NYLA Empire State Academic Scholarship. Both the student and school must be NYLA members, and recipients must work in a New York library for two years after graduation.

The award provides $1,000 for tuition plus free NYLA conference attendance.

Submit a 300-word goals essay, one reference letter, and a transcript.
