NWSA Lesbian Caucus Award

Current individual NWSA members who also hold Lesbian Caucus membership may apply for a $500 research award recognizing a master's thesis or doctoral dissertation in lesbian, queer, and LGBT studies that advances lesbian and sexuality studies. The degree field is open if the work focuses on lesbian lives, identities, or realities.

Applications are evaluated on project clarity, relevance to NWSA and the Lesbian Caucus, feminist methodology, and potential impact on the field. Submit with one recommendation letter, preferably from a thesis or dissertation advisor. The award closes April 30 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
