NVHEF Medical School Scholarship

Students enrolled in medical school (MD or DO) at an accredited program may apply for a $2,500 North Valley Health Education Foundation scholarship. Up to eight awards are available. Preference goes to applicants who graduated from a high school in Butte, Colusa, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo, or Yuba counties in Northern California.

Applications open January 1 each year through NVHEF's online scholarship platform. Review the required-materials checklist before applying. Most finalists are interviewed in mid to late May.
