NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) — Engineering supervisors

Canadian citizens or permanent residents registered in a bachelor's degree program who will undertake full-time summer research under a McMaster Faculty of Engineering supervisor may apply for an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA). Applicants must be current full-time undergraduate students with a minimum cumulative GPA of B- (7.0 on McMaster's 12-point scale). Use this path only for Engineering faculty supervisors; CNL USRE has a separate AwardSpring opportunity.

The agency contribution is $6,000. Apply through the Faculty of Engineering USRA process when the competition is open.
