NSERC Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Doctoral (CGRS D)

Doctoral students applying through the NSERC stream of the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship – Doctoral (CGRS D) program may be supported for research-oriented doctoral study. Applicants must have completed no more than 36 months of full-time-equivalent doctoral study by December 31 of the calendar year of application.

The award is valued at $40,000 per year for up to 36 months. Applications go through a Canadian institution or directly to the agency; institutional deadlines are often earlier than the agency deadline.
