About this scholarship
High school or college student-athletes who play competitive tennis and live with diabetes may apply through the USTA Foundation for scholarships paid directly to their college.
Twelve one-year, non-renewable awards are granted: two national winners receive $15,000 each and ten regional winners receive $7,000 each. Applicants must show academic excellence, tennis achievement, leadership, and community involvement.
Complete the USTA Foundation application by March 15. The scholarship is named for collegiate tennis champions Diane Donnelly Stone and Tracey Donnelly Maltby, sisters who have lived with diabetes since childhood, and was first established by Billie Jean King in 1998.
