About this scholarship

New Jersey resident undergraduates enrolled full time in agriculture or natural resource conservation majors who have completed at least four semesters by the award date may apply. Eligible majors include agronomy, soil science, forestry, environmental science, wildlife or fisheries management, and related fields. The Memorial Conservation Scholarship is $1,000.

Mail an application between January 1 and May 31 with two 500-word essays on financial need and conservation involvement. Selection weighs academic commitment, scholastic ability, and conservation-related activities.

The NJACD Memorial Conservation Scholarship Fund honors dedicated conservation leaders and encourages careers in natural resource management.
