About this scholarship
University of Ottawa graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, early-career instructors, or professors conducting research or a project (thesis, publication, major paper, or similar) on 2SLGBTQIA+ legal, policy, or community issues who have contributed to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community may apply. Students must also be in good academic standing.
One prize of $1,500 is awarded.
Students apply through Online Scholarships and Bursaries in uoZone with a research proposal, dean or chair recommendation, and CV. Postdocs and faculty apply to the Financial Aid and Awards Service. Applications are due March 2.
The prize encourages excellence in research on laws, public- and private-sector policies affecting 2SLGBTQIA+ human rights, and related community, arts, and sports topics.
