Women in Aviation International Scholarships

Current WAI members may apply for 75+ named scholarships spanning flight training, maintenance (AMT), dispatch, engineering, and other aviation careers. Membership must be active through August 30, 2026, or expire no earlier than March 30, 2027. WAI states race, ethnicity, and gender are not considered in selection.

The portfolio totals more than $550,000 across individual funds with varying amounts and purposes (training, tuition, ratings, and conference attendance).

The WAI2027 cycle accepts applications June 1 through September 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET via the online portal. Requirements vary by scholarship but commonly include essays, recommendations, and training or enrollment documentation.
