Eligibility
About this scholarship
William Penn Association life benefit members in good standing for at least four years as of January 1 may apply. Full-time students accepted by or attending accredited colleges, universities, nursing, technical, or trade schools qualify.
One-time grants of $500 (Special Juvenile Term to Age 25 plan) or $2,000 (Whole Life plan with $5,000 minimum face amount). Juvenile term holders may convert to whole life by August 31 for the larger grant.
Applications, essays, and required documents postmarked, emailed, or faxed by May 31; proof of Fall 2026 enrollment due August 31. Applicants must complete an essay, branch event participation, community service project, or William Penn Life article.
The WPA Scholarship Foundation, founded in 1969, supports Hungarian-American fraternal members pursuing post-secondary education.
