Minority osteopathic medical students in good standing at COCA-accredited colleges who will be OMS-III or OMS-IV during the 2026-2027 academic year may apply directly online. Applicants should be in the top half of their class if ranked and show leadership advancing health equity for minority populations.

In 2026 the AOF plans up to 25 awards of $10,000 each. Recipients receive a complimentary ticket to the AOF Honors Gala in Las Vegas.

Applications open February 23 and close April 30, 2026. Required materials include a personal statement, CV, proof of AOA student membership, a dean letter, and two additional recommendations including one from an osteopathic physician.
