About this scholarship
Accounting students enrolled at Virginia colleges who intend to pursue a Virginia CPA license may apply through one VSCPA Educational Foundation application. General eligibility requires three accounting credits by December 31, 2025, a 2.7+ GPA, and free VSCPA student membership. Individual awards range from $2,500 to $3,000 for the 2026-27 year, including summer 2026, and are paid to schools in June. Categories include general, access, and named scholarships with extra criteria for first-generation, veteran, or financial-need students. The 2026-27 cycle closed April 1, 2026 and reopens each January.
