About this scholarship
Active UNA members with at least two years of premium-paying membership and a minimum $5,000 non-term insurance policy may apply for named special scholarships (Blackstone, Demidenko, Galandiuk, Hawrysz, Jarosewycz, Slevinsky, Stangl, Wolk, and others). Full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college or university is required.
Award amounts vary by fund. Unsuccessful special scholarship applicants are automatically considered for general UNA awards.
Applications postmarked by June 1 with transcript, essay, and photograph.
UNA special scholarships honor community benefactors and may be applied to alongside other UNA awards if eligible.
