About this scholarship
Graduating California high school seniors, currently enrolled undergraduates, re-entry students, and graduate students may apply through one SVCF-managed common application. Awards are merit- and need-based across SVCF's own named funds.
SVCF awards close to 700 scholarships totaling more than $4.5 million each year. Individual award amounts vary by fund matched through the single application.
One online application with one deadline considers applicants for all SVCF-managed scholarships. The 2026-27 cycle closed February 27, 2026 at noon PST; notifications go out by June 30, 2026.
