About this scholarship
High school seniors and current college students who attend or plan to attend a Florida college or university and pursue professional journalism careers may apply.
The chapter awards up to $2,500 to one or more students each summer. Applicants may also apply for separate Molly Turner broadcast and NLGJA scholarships but can win only one SPJ Florida award.
Applications are due July 10 annually; materials include FAFSA copy, transcripts, 500-word career essay, and recommendation letter.
