Eligibility
About this scholarship
Applicants worldwide who are active SNAME members may apply for one year of undergraduate study toward a Bachelor of Science in naval architecture, marine engineering, ocean engineering, or a related marine field. SNAME membership must be in place at least four months before the June 1 deadline.
Rosenblatt and Herbert scholarships pay up to $6,000; other named undergraduate awards pay up to $5,000.
Applications must be received by June 1 with supporting documents by June 15. A 500-600 word essay on passion for the field and SNAME involvement is required.
SNAME supports education and professional development in naval architecture, marine engineering, and ocean engineering.
