Ruth Ballweg Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to PA students who identify as part of a historically marginalized group and honor Ruth Ballweg's work expanding diversity in the profession. General PAF eligibility requires AAPA student membership, enrollment in an ARC-PA-accredited program, completion of at least one term, and enrollment during the application cycle.

The Ruth Ballweg Memorial Scholarship provides $2,500 as part of the PAF unified scholarship cycle.

Apply once through the Reviewr platform during the annual February-March window; the 2026 cycle ran February 2 through March 16 and is now closed.

Administered by the Physician Associate Foundation within its multi-scholarship PA student program.
