Ray C. Janeway Scholarship

Texas residents accepted as graduate students at a Texas ALA-accredited or CAEP-accredited library education program may apply. Applicants must have earned at least a B average during the last two years of their baccalaureate program.

The Ray C. Janeway Scholarship provides $2,000, TLA's flagship cash award for MLIS students.

TLA scholarship applications open each September for the following year's awards. Applications were closed at verification; 2027 scholarships open September 2026.
