About this scholarship

Individual professional artists who are Michigan residents may apply for Professional/Organizational Development minigrants through regional MACC regranting agencies. Eligible activities include workshops, conferences, residencies, and career development.

Awards up to $1,500 support arts-related skill building and professional growth. Organizations, schools, and municipalities may apply under separate project categories.

Deadlines vary by MACC region and are typically twice per year through regional partners such as Anton Art Center (Region 10A) and CultureSource (Region 10). Applications use the MACC SmartSimple portal and require a UEI.

The Michigan Arts and Culture Council funds these regional minigrants as part of its statewide arts support portfolio.
