About this scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate journalism students from the San Francisco Bay Area, or attending a Bay Area college or university, who demonstrate commitment to ethical journalism may apply.
The recipient receives $2,000 plus an invitation to the RTDNA Foundation First Amendment Awards in Washington, D.C. with travel support.
Applications open September 9 and are due October 22 annually through the RTDNA Foundation online application.
Established in 2007, the award honors the late San Francisco broadcast journalist Pete Wilson.
