Norway-America Association Graduate Scholarship

American citizens planning full-time graduate study or research in Norway may apply. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and pursue a project of mutual benefit to Norway and the United States. Preference may go to first master's students.

Scholarships vary up to NOK 40,000 depending on financial need, subject, and length of stay. Awards follow the Norwegian academic year (August 1 through May 31) and require a minimum three-month stay. Recipients may receive NORAM support at most twice.

Apply through NORAM's online portal by 1 April for the following academic year; decisions target 1 June. The portal is currently closed for the active cycle but reopens annually.
