Applicants must be 3Ls or graduates of an ABA-accredited U.S. law school planning to sit for a bar exam in July 2026 or February 2027.

The Foundation awards at least $1,000 toward bar review course costs.

The online application, personal statement (300 words max), transcript, and resume are due May 3 each year. The 2026 deadline had passed when checked in July 2026.

The NNABA Foundation supports Indigenous attorneys preparing for bar admission.
