About this scholarship
Indigenous law students (Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander) who are NNABA, regional American Indian Bar Association, or NNALSA members may apply. Applicants must be 3Ls or graduates of an ABA-accredited U.S. law school planning to sit for a bar exam in July 2026 or February 2027.
The Foundation awards at least $1,000 toward bar review course costs.
The online application, personal statement (300 words max), transcript, and resume are due May 3 each year. The 2026 deadline had passed when checked in July 2026.
The NNABA Foundation supports Indigenous attorneys preparing for bar admission.
