Nexus Grant

Emerging and established individual artists and small arts groups headquartered in the Austin MSA may apply for Nexus grants supporting public arts activities in Austin council districts or the extraterritorial jurisdiction. Applicants need at least one year of creative production history in Austin.

Awards are $5,000 or $10,000 based on panel score for a 12-month agreement. The program accepts applications twice per year.

Eligible applicants must produce open, advertised events for Austin residents and visitors and stay under a $150,000 annual operating budget.

ACME (Austin Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment) administers Nexus as part of the city's cultural funding portfolio.
