About this scholarship
Students in the North & East Texas Press Association service area pursuing journalism or photojournalism may apply. Awards go to eligible high school seniors and college students majoring in journalism who will enroll full time.
NETPA and the Texas Press Association award two $1,500 scholarships paid to the college registrar upon proof of full-time enrollment as a journalism major.
Download and mail the annual application; entries must be postmarked by March 14. The 2025 application form was posted when checked in July 2026.
