NBA Judicial Council Law Student Scholarship

Underrepresented minority law students nationwide may apply for the NBA Judicial Council's 2025-2026 scholarship programs. Separate tracks include an academic scholarship (up to $5,000 for tuition), a bar review scholarship (up to $2,500), and a judicial internship stipend (up to $1,000).

The academic scholarship provides direct financial assistance for law school tuition to support diversity in the legal profession and judiciary pipeline.

Applications are uploaded through the website form; the 2025-2026 deadline was extended to February 28, 2026. The Judicial Council promotes diversity on the bench through mentorship and financial support.

The National Bar Association Judicial Council is the NBA affiliate focused on increasing minority representation in the judiciary.
