NBA Corporate Law Section Gateway to Success Scholarship

Up to six diverse undergraduate seniors, recent college graduates, or current law students nationwide may apply for scholarships of $5,000 to $6,500 tied to the annual Gateway to Success Conference. Recipients include up to three pre-law students planning to enroll in law school by fall 2026 and three current law students.

Selection weighs financial need, academic merit, community involvement, leadership, and extracurricular activities. Recipients are announced at the Gateway to Success Conference (attendance not required).

Applications require two recommendations, transcripts, resume, headshot, and a 250-500 word essay on why the applicant wants to be a lawyer and their intended impact; email materials to gatewaytosuccess@nationalbar.org by February 16. The 2026 conference was held March 6, 2026 in Baton Rouge.
