Medical Student Annual Meeting Scholarship

RJOS student members actively enrolled in an accredited U.S. medical school may apply for travel support to attend the RJOS Annual Meeting. Applicants may receive only one RJOS medical student scholarship during medical school.

The scholarship covers meeting attendance costs and exposure to women-in-orthopaedics programming at the RJOS and AAOS annual meetings. Zimmer Biomet Foundation supports this award.

New RJOS student memberships must be submitted by August 31 to be eligible. The application period typically closes October 15 each year.

The Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society offers this recurring scholarship to support women medical students exploring orthopaedic surgery.
