About this scholarship
Students with Korean heritage studying in the United States may apply regardless of citizenship status, including Korean nationals. Full-time high school, undergraduate, and graduate students with minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA apply through the regional chapter where their school is located (seven U.S. regions).
Regional awards typically range from $500 to $5,000. Students may apply for multiple scholarship types but receive only one award type per year.
The 2026-27 cycle opens April 1 with regional deadlines typically around June 30.
KASF, founded in 1969, is the largest Korean-American scholarship organization, distributing regional awards through volunteer chapters nationwide.
