About this scholarship
Medical students, graduate students, and residents interested in nephrology who have not yet committed to a nephrology fellowship may apply for the ASN Kidney STARS program. The in-person program runs during ASN Kidney Week.
Participants receive $1,500 travel support and complimentary meeting registration, plus tailored events and networking to explore nephrology careers.
Applications open in early May and close June 10 at 2:00 p.m. EDT each cycle. Required materials include a CV and an institutional letter verifying status and anticipated graduation date.
ASN Kidney STARS is supported by Vertex Pharmaceuticals and ASN to build the nephrology pipeline.
