Eligibility
About this scholarship
Open to underserved law students enrolled at ABA-accredited U.S. law schools or territories, regardless of immigration status. Incoming 1Ls and current 1L, 2L, 3L, or LLM students in good standing may apply. Applicants should demonstrate resilience, leadership, and commitment to public service.
Scholarships start at $2,500 and may cover tuition, books, fees, or living expenses. The HNBA VIA Fund supports economically disadvantaged or historically underrepresented students.
All application materials are due by 11:59 PM EST on July 17, 2026. Submit transcripts, resume, personal statement, financial needs statement, extracurricular activities, and a professional photograph.
