About this scholarship
Children of Fraternal Order of Eagles members who died while serving in the military or while at work may receive educational grants. Applicants must be under age 25, unmarried, non-self-supporting, and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA. Stepchildren and legally adopted children of the deceased member qualify.
Grants cover tuition, fees, books, and course-related supplies at colleges, universities, or vocational and trade schools, up to $6,000 per school year with a $30,000 lifetime maximum. Payment goes directly to the institution. Online college tuition may be reimbursed.
Recipients submit grant forms annually with an academic transcript. BigFuture lists a rolling January 1 through December 31 application window for 2026.
The F.O.E. Memorial Foundation was established in the 1940s to support families of Eagles who lost their lives in military service or workplace accidents.
