Edmond M. Dewan Young Scientist Scholarship

Graduate students conducting research in atmospheric sciences or space physics may apply for the Dr. Edmond M. Dewan Young Scientist Scholarship. Applicants must be active AGU student members with a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA and enrolled in graduate studies.

Recipients receive a $1,000 scholarship and an award certificate. AGU Annual Meeting travel is not automatic; recipients may apply separately for travel support.

Applications are submitted through the AGU Honors portal during the January to mid-March window. Required materials include a project narrative, personal statement, CV, transcripts, and a faculty advisor recommendation.

The fund was established to encourage graduate research in atmospheric science and space physics within AGU's honors portfolio.
