Chet Jordan Leadership Award

Graduating seniors at Maine high schools pursuing post-secondary study at Maine public universities, the Maine Community College System, Maine Maritime Academy, or Maine vocational/technical programs may apply. Recipients demonstrate leadership, independent thinking, initiative, and community impact beyond routine student government or team captain roles.

Award amounts vary; the fund seeks students who rally others and show extraordinary leadership accomplishments.

Apply online through the Maine Community Foundation scholarship portal by May 1 annually.

Established in 1995 in memory of Joseph Chet Jordan, a Portland-born business and civic leader, the award is administered statewide by Maine Community Foundation.
