CAP Foundation Medical Student Travel Award

U.S. medical students actively enrolled in an accredited medical school with strong interest in pathology may apply for travel funding to attend the CAP Annual Meeting. All applicants are considered regardless of age, race, gender, national origin, or religion.

The award covers up to $1,200 in travel expenses. A Residents Forum delegate helps awardees network and learn about pathology careers and residency training.

Applications open in early August and are due in mid-March each cycle. Materials include essay responses, CV, two recommendation letters (including one from a CAP member), and a professional headshot.

The CAP Foundation offers this recurring award to encourage medical students to explore pathology as a career.
