About this scholarship
Full- or part-time students in building-related college, university, or trade programs may apply. Applicants need at least one course or trade program remaining after the award year and must pursue building industry coursework or vocational training.
Awards cover tuition and school or program fees only, paid directly to the institution. Amounts vary by fund.
Applications with recommendation letters are due March 6 each year on the shared NAHB PWB/NHE application page. Enrollment verification may be required before disbursement.
Hope S. Bettilyon, a former NAHB Women's Auxiliary president, founded this scholarship in 1955 to support building trades students.
