Azrieli International Postdoctoral Fellowship

International postdoctoral researchers may apply for two-year fellowships at eligible Israeli universities. US and Canadian PhD holders are eligible provided they have not earned a degree from an Israeli institution.

Fellows receive 14,000 ILS monthly stipend plus 20,000 ILS annually for research expenses and travel. Up to 24 fellowships are awarded each year across STEM, humanities, and social sciences.

Applications for 2027-28 open 1 September 2026, close 11 November 2026, with notification by 31 March 2027. Requires an academic sponsor at a participating Israeli university.

The Azrieli Foundation supports early-career researchers conducting postdoctoral work in Israel.
